# Waitkeep > One standing waitlist for a tutor, trainer, groomer or dog trainer. Each person on it gets a private page showing their place, and you offer slots from your phone. Waitkeep keeps a standing waitlist for a solo tutor, personal trainer, dog groomer or dog trainer. The pro signs in with a passkey (WebAuthn; no password, no email address) and makes a list with a join link and QR code. A family or client joins with no account, giving an adult's name, a phone number or email address and a nickname, initials or pet name for who the place is for, and gets a private position link. Position = 1 + the number of people on the same list who are waiting or have an open offer and sit before them; the pro may move people. When a slot opens the pro taps Offer and sends a prepared message from their own phone; the place is held for exactly 48 hours of elapsed time (24, 48 or 72 on a paid plan), and the person accepts, declines and keeps their place, or leaves on the same page. An ended hold keeps the place and counts a missed offer. The app never offers the next person by itself. The pro sees every outcome in an Outcomes strip, a calendar feed of open holds, and at most one email per offer at a confirmed address; families never get email. Lists, people, offers and accounts are kept in a Cloudflare D1 database; link secrets, session ids and the recovery code are stored only as SHA-256 digests. Pros can download everything and delete their account (hard deleted after 7 days). ## Tool - [A standing waitlist with a position page](https://waitkeep.com/): A pro keeps one ordered waitlist; each person on it gets a private page showing their place, and the pro offers and fills slots. ## How it works - [How positions, offers and holds work](https://waitkeep.com/how-it-works/): How a position is decided, how the pro moves people, how long an offer is held, what each answer does, limits, and a worked example. - [Printables](https://waitkeep.com/printables/): Free printable sheets for a waitlist: a paper sign-up sheet and a poster saying the list is full. - [Waitlist sign-up sheet](https://waitkeep.com/printables/waitlist-sign-up-sheet/): A printable sheet for a front desk: date, adult's name, contact, who the place is for and notes, ready to type into the list later. - [We are full poster](https://waitkeep.com/printables/we-are-full-poster/): A printable poster saying the list is full, with space to write or stick the join link and QR code. ## Reference - [FAQ](https://waitkeep.com/faq/): Positions, moves, missed offers, holds, what families see, lost position links, data, export, deletion and the free list limit. - [About](https://waitkeep.com/about/): What the site is, who it is for (tutors, trainers, groomers and dog trainers), and what it is not. ## Policies - [Privacy](https://waitkeep.com/privacy/): Exactly what is stored on the server, where, for how long, and how to delete it. - [Terms of use](https://waitkeep.com/terms/): What the site can be relied on for, your content, acceptable use and support. ## Pricing Free.
